One of the most difficult things to extract from Lotus Notes database documents are OLE embedded objects. Due to the nature and way OLE objects are stored it is very difficult to write applications to extract this data.

These are objects are created in a Lotus Notes rich text field (like the body of a message) with the Create - Object option. These should not be confused with Lotus Notes attachments which can be extracted with our DetachIt tool.

We may be able to assist. If you need help please contact us. It may be something that could be handled with a special custom written script to handle the type of OLE embedded objects you have. It is very fiddly and requires a lot of error checking to catch unexpected situations however it could be the only option available for you other than manually extracting data.
